  • My 2003 Evo 8

Bought her used and stock in 2006 with 50k miles. Sorry, no pics of her stock.

    First thing I did;
-Lowered her on Tein S Techs springs (First thing I do to all my Cars. HaHa)
-Remove rear wing and install Rexpeed Type 1 carbon spoiler
    -Rexpeed D-Style front lip
    -Red vinyl on taillights
-Wheels are stock Evo 8 Enkeis. 235/45/17 tires (I kinda miss them)
Only pic I have of her with this setup.

Pic of me with other Evo Members. High Quality phone pic power. LOL

-Wheels; stock Evo BBS' were next. 235/45/17 tires
    Sorry, no full body shots.

-Wheels; Enkei NT03-M powdered coated gloss black, 18x9.5 with 265/35/18
    -Camber -3 front, -2 rear
    -JIC Magic Coilovers
-Destroyed the D-Style lip and added Greddy Gracer Urethane Lip
-Took headlights apart, removed the amber lenses and paint semi gloss black
    -Perrin intercooler

    -Tried to replicate JDM Headlights.
    -Sprayed lower corners amber
-made a plastic reflector on top corner
    -semi gloss black housing
    Fun learning experience

    -Rexpeed D-Style lip again
-Real JDM Evo 8 MR Headlights

-Lost interest in my Evo for about 4 years and stored her on the side of the house under a car cover.
-Life happens and I have 2 Sons now.
-No pics of stored Evo or Kids but here's 2 pics of Chaka from 1974 Land of the Lost.

-Wheels; 2006 Evo BBS SE's. They're like the grey one's above but polished.
    -Tires; 245/40/17
-Cracked 4th lip; Ebay Du-Luck style urethane lip.

-One of my good friends returns back to California and gets me back into cars. I love my Evo again.
    -More Low
    -Tires; 225/40/18
-Camber; -3 front, -5 rear (zero toe front/rear)
-Found a British Evo 7/8 rear bumper (Not easy to find a vendor willing to ship to the United States)

-I get a set of 17" BBS RS' and just couldn't make them fit the way I wanted without bagging.
-2.5" lips front, 3.5" lips rear

The Lowrider in me wanted to try spokes... Maybe I will. Maybe I won't. lol.

CURRENTLY, AS OF NOW, AS SHE SITS IN MY GARAGE
Traded the 17" BBS RS for a set of 18x9 BBS Style 5s. I pestered and pestered and pestered Byron to sell/trade me.
    Wheels; BBS RC 062; Style 5s; 18x9
    -Camber; -3 front, -7 rear; 0 toe (front/rear)
-Rexspeed Evo 8 Carbon Fiber Front Bumper Ducts color matched silver
    -Another Ebay urethane front lip
I've gone through alot of suspension parts and spring rates. I still plan to try stiffer spring rates and go more low.
    The modding will never end.

Lol, You guys! I've been searching Craigslist from time to time for spokes. I'm not seriously looking for a set. I'm enjoying her the way she's sitting right now. I'd probably use the spokes as beater winter wheels. haha.

The best looking EVO body style in my opinion.

It's a fender mod used to get more clearance. The stock fenders are aluminum and can't really be pulled to get more room. I'm still undecided on which aftermarket fenders I want to get.
