Hello from Ireland

Hey lads, I`m Will from Cork, Ireland. I heard about this site on www.driftworks.com and I have to say I`m well impressed with the level of sweet (I see you call them "sick" ) cars on here.

I`m a big fan of stance and always thought that a proper stance can make or break a car. I got interested in the whole tuck/poke, offset police banter when I was looking to put some wiiiiide rims on my R33 skyline. I was told 11J`s et+12 wouldnt fit (standard rims are 6.5J et+38, so I took on the challenge and went from this...........



to this.....(sorry for crap pics)





I then mirror polished the wheels myself ...


...and ended up selling them along with the car as I`m now looking to get an e36 daily with a set of style 5`s that fingers crossed I might be collecting this week (they`re the staggered set with the 9J rears) and a project e30 325i sport with a set of RS`s.

I have to say this forum from what I`ve read so far has given me a lot of inspiration, hopefully I`ll get to post a few pics of my next creation down the line sometime soon.

I dont think so, but there`s a strong fatlace/hellaflush following on DW, there`s some really nice cars that look a lot like the calibre of cars on this forum. I`ve seen a few references to stanceworks on wheelwhores as well due to it`s US section.

I love it.

It`s the same here in Ireland, S and R bodied cars make up the majority of modified cars. Most sport a hovercraft drift kit , rota torques/gtr, BGW`s and are zip tied together. I`ve always been a massive BMW head but needed to learn the hard way that you can have a very fast car that can also give decent mpg when you`re cruising. My R33 did 14 mpg no matter what way I drove it.

Welcome to SW,shame you got rid of the Skyline but with price of fuel in Ireland and the UK im not surprised you only got 14mpg! its the same with my e30.

Welcome along dude, good to see another Irish member on here! The R33 looked tidy with those wheels on it. Had often thought about getting one but the running costs of them always put me off!
