I think the gold wheels will look good. I would kill for a really nice set of BBS wheels one day (don't know which ones yet). I only paid $350 for the STi wheels and they came with tires, plus they're the same hub size and only +2mm off on the offset. And the best part is they're Subaru.
But right now my money is going to fixing everything to make it run perfectly, then I'll start doing upgrades.

Just put my freshly painted summer wheels on! More pictures to come once I have time for an actual photoshoot. They were painted with GrimmSpeed copy paint, and are super close to the STi gold (these wheels were silver). Also, I am ordering a set of coilovers this week, so those will be put on within the next month.

Made a quick video
So I built myself a DIY camera slider with some wood, an old tripod, and a super cheap camera dolly from eBay. It's not perfect by any means, but it definitely gets the job done for being around $20. Here's a video of my car with it. Hope you like it!
