annnddd this is roughly what the car looks like today. I installed flares and raised it a little due to 8 tickets in a month and almost having it impounded twice by two different officers. I'll get actual pictures taken once I get the flares color matched, my new seats and slightly bigger spacers

lol yep. First time I got pulled over I got an exhaust and suspension ticket and he told me if he sees it on the road again he'd impound it and even gave me all of the codes showing that he was allowed to do so. I kept driving, he saw me again and gave me two more tickets and took my tags and was waiting for a tow truck. I convinced him to let me go claiming ignorance (asking how to correct, etc.) Got pulled over a couple days later and only got another exhaust ticket. Following night, I got pulled over again by another different cop and he let me go because I showed him I had already been ticketed and claimed I was working on correcting it. Then the last cop, another different cop, pulled me over maybe a week later, gave me an exhaust and suspension ticket and said he'd impound it if he saw me again due to non-compliance. I looked it up and he was able to do so as well.

Now, the first cop wanted to impound it since my tires rubbed at full lock and claimed it was reckless and the second guy that wanted to impound was just mad I wasn't listening.

Jared Houston at one point actually wanted me to sell the car but it only has maybe 30,000 miles and I just didn't want to get rid of it so I installed flares, raised it maybe half an inch and put somewhat of a muffler on the car. I havent been pulled since and I drive it every day

Sucks about the cops targeting you for your lows. Never have that problem around here.

My country (Paraguay) is the 'lowered cars paradise' (as our neighbours brazilian say). Here the cops doesn't have a clue of cars technical issues, last week I was pulled over, I thought it was for being too low, the cop asked me how I managed to drive that low, I showed him my air suspension system, gave him the controller to play with, and, you should see his face bro, like a kid with a new toy! haha it was epic!

Anyways, beautiful car! Always loved the Miata.
