sup guys, my name is Rodrigo Romão, and i own a 4x4-status VW rustbox. 
BTW it's not some sort of retrimmed MK1 Golf - it's actually named a Gol. 1.8 and 115hp of pure, carburated fury.
I'm quite a lurker at the SW forums, as i love the euro scene in general, which is quite abundant around here. heh. I've come around on photographing what's new on the brazilian VW scene around my area, which might just be getting in tune with the euro "trends" heh.
Car-wise, this is my first, got it about two months ago! It's indeed similar to a MK1 styling-wise, but i believe that's about it - my car's got a longitudinal engine
. I've been slowly restoring it to its original glory - especially as it's got a few rust issues along the floorpans and rear end - nothing too serious though - but, i'm also looking forward to getting it lower in the months to come, as soon as i sort those issues out.
