    Like the title says, new guy...

    Basics;
    22, Cincinnati, love cars, do all of my own work with my friends and I. Drive an army green 97 Probe GT. Turbo'ed, and in the process of being tuned, tucked, bay painted, and getting a new turbo.

    I've worked on anything from Rat rod builds, chopping, channeling, sectioning, to B series Honda's, KA/SR 240's, Probes obviously, Small block powered mustangs...but anyways, I have a very eclectic style in vehicles, from a 427 stroker powered LSX F body on tons of spray, ripping the back bumper off coming out of the hole, to an 8 valve powered V-dub on some BBS's, or a RHD B series turbo civic, ripping the tires off til 100mph, or a 35 Ford truck, with bomber seats, and zoomies coming off of a flatthead inducted by some offy carbs...love it all.

    Specs;
    Stock bottom end
    Ported KLDE heads,
    Colt Camshafts 218* duration/363* lift on both intake and exhaust
    KLZE Intake, with some light portwork, removed butterflys, 65mm tb.
    Deatschwerks 550cc injectors
    Aeromotive AFPR
    Walbroh 255
    Stainless steel lines (fuel, brake, clutch)
    ACT 6 puck
    Fidanza flywheel
    EMUSA HUGE I/C
    Garrett T04b (going to an HTA35R)
    Tial 38mm
    Greddy Type S
    Megasquirt N spark EMS
    K sport 36 ways
    AWR solid motor mounts, and trailing arms
    Escort gt strut mounts
    Car is painted camo green with a black roof
    Kirkey drivers seat
    GUTTED.

    Current wheel line up;
    Old school Rays (work equip style) 16X8 +20mm offset, polished lips, satin black faces (powdercoating barrels to match paint on the car)
    Sparco NTR 17x7 +35 offset (15mm spacers needed for flushness lol)

    Oh, and some of my previous cars, none with good wheel fitment, just fun shit I had at one time or another.





    Black probe, boltons and nitrous, till it broke a valve retainer.

    Civic, LS turbo, made low 200's on 10psi, ripped tires apart. Garbage. Yes that is pink, yes that is chalk, and yes that's a teal fender.





    Celica, bolt ons, suspension.
    Red Probe, bolton's, suspension, gutted, auto-x car.
    Red Neon, first car, auto x car, bolt ons and suspension. SLOW.






    Mustang; Carb'ed 308, 10:1 comp, t5 trans, 3.55 gears, cammed, GT40p heads, ran ok.

    Civic Si-bolt ons, rotas, was WAY lower when I had it, my buddy has it now.

            Oh and as for a daily, currently rocking a cheapie S10. Looking for a MK2 GTI, or Jetta coupe ha.

                Thanks man, hopefully I can find a clean one. I'm holding out for a VR6. I would love to find a Vr6 swapped coupe, but most I run across are priced higher than giraffe pussy.

                Either way, I'll probably find something.

                Picking up a Probe gt this week to drive, with 87k on it, with a bunch of bolt ons, swapped, and my old Sparco NTR wheels on it.

                      Well since nothing i have/own/am doing, is really worthy of a thread just yet, ill just keep bumping this one for the kiddies.

                      As of late;

                      My stupid, unreliable, bastard car;

                      When I first bought it;


                      Now:



                      No real big noticeable changes from the pics, but this really isnt THAT recent.
                      As of that picture, painted wheels, cleaned up the engine bay vac hoses/wiring, painted the Intaki mani, attempted to track down all unused plugs in the harness, for the things it's undergoing now;

                      Full raychem/mil spec (first one ever, chyea buddy) tuck of my full engine harness. Body harness will be partially tucked, and still have an underhood fusebox, just mounted in a different location, battery in trunk.
                      New transmission, ACT 6 puck, Fidanza 9lb flywheel.
                      Block will be painted, trans painted (cast blast)
                      A/C components, firewall mat removed.
                      K sport coilovers installed
                      16x8/8.5 (respectively) Rays Sebring Zeiger 5's on some 195/50/16 falkens
                      Possibly repainted back to the factory color with a few tweaks (jury's still out on this one cause it wont be some maaco junk, i will drop close to 2k on this ordeal and if this dips in to turbo kit money, no no no)

                      Yes the glovebox, and center console are broken. On the lookout for minty fresh stuff!

                      01 GTI VR6, black leather, woodgrain, climate control, 5 speed, has a magnaflow, and neuspeed intake, which will likely stay as the only "performance mods". Rebuilt title, hail damage on roof and hood, but not a bad deal considering I scooped her up for $2500. 125k miles, and yes chains/guides need done, not too bad of a job though, just did them last week on an auto vr6 jetta. Going to probably go with some racelands, get it as low as i can (reasonably, she is my daily), and get some dope ass wheels that I can terminate on a pothole on these fucking tight ass Cincinnati roads, paved of gravel and broken cinder blocks.


                      Oh and I locked down a white/black roof 60-1 1g big rod/2g pistons 1gb fwd talon, 23psi, pump gas, 1000cc injectors, ready to terminate riceboys and dirtbike wiggers in the greater cincinnati area like this;

                      , then post up with a broken trans in the garage like this;

                        I enjoyed reading this. Looks like you've got a few under your belt Dangler, I want to see you knock this one out of the park! it's already low enough, you just need the right wheels to set it off, and maybe a different paint job..

                          The probe isn't exactly low enough for the 16's yet but ill get it there. Getting it way down will be tough cause I have to run a modded/dropped crossmember for the turbo pipe clearance...we will see what's up. The gti needs an altitude adjustment but I might have found some long beaches for it just space them and dump it for now until I can get some wheels. And the dsm will have tall drag radials so it will be anti stance.

                          Well, just started helping out/bartering at a bodyshop this week, gonna barter the GTI into a fixed roof/hood/hatch, just might have to drive her around spotted for awhile. The junk hood that is on it will likely have something cool done to it that will be trendy, and all the girlpants kids will get dickhard over. SIKE!

                          Gonna work to get the probe painted too, we shall see.

                            Welp just an update, not that any of you fellers care, but...

                            Now have a complete, relatively clean jetta doghouse for it. Also, long beaches are on. Waiting to order my ultimos next week, but putting the Jetta front on tomorrow morning, hell im just pumped to not have a hail dented hood, the JTI part is just a bonus. Oh, and it's matching, Tornado Red so no paint needed.



                            Also, have done every major service the car should need for the next 100k miles;
                            Both Timing chain guides
                            Both Timing chain tensioners
                            Both Timing chains
                            New Melling Oil pump
                            Rear Main seal
                            Valve cover gasket
                            Coolant flush
                            Oil change
                            Fixed the axle from where the previous owner/axle installer didnt locktite the bolts, and they came zipping out in a catastrophic turn of events that led to me pushing my car backwards across 4 lanes of 55mph interstate late at night. Which in turn led me to believe that I should go to the bar, and to the bar i did indeed go, and proceeded to get white boy wasted.


                            Also got myself a cheap system to bump, you know gots ta have da beatz.
                            Kenwood 12" tornado sub
                            Kenwood 280watt RMS, 2 channel amp

                            I'll likely be replacing the Kenwood sub with a dvc sub of some kind, maybe a kicker comp vr.

                            I mean im not trying to go all waterfall themed MTX subwoofer competiton 1997 Phoenix AZ style like this guy

                            Just some bumps to jazz up my ride yo. Like this


                            Plans for the near future;
                            Projector headlights (probably e code knockoffs)
                            Fog light housing lower grilles
                            Oh, and Fucking paint. I'm tired of driving a 2001 with 3 shades of red, shit drives me nuts. I'll probably have 100 hours in fixing all the penny dents and hail damage, and wiping the whole roof with a skimcoat of bondola. FML

                            I have stripped that terrible piece of shit to a bare shell, and so far scavenged every available part for my racecar stuff going on with my red probe pictured here;

                            Perfect black dash
                            Hotshot 1 1/2" primary tubular turbo manifolds
                            Wally 255
                            Ksport coilovers
                            Perfect black mirrors
                            Modded crossmembers to fit a downpipe, which i will be fixing cause the downpipe wont be an issue, routed out the front bumper like im driving a Ford 9n tractor down the road.


                            I have my complete turbo kit with the exception of Nissan style side fed injectors, and a same side inlet/outlet intercooler, because im not a faggot and dont care about people seeing my huge blingy front mount, but would rather it perform and it will do so fairly well with about 5 feet total of intercooler piping, instead of 20, being that the turbo and throttle body are on the same side. I have sourced both, but find it hard to spend more money on this damn thing until my gti is looking fresh.


                            So far the turbo kit/build consists of;
                            Megasquirt n spark v1 3.0 hardwired, ready to go with 2 step launch control, NLTS, rev limiter.
                            Garrett 60-1 turbocharger
                            Hotshot tubular turbo pipez
                            Tial 38mm wg, 15psi spring
                            Greddy Type RS bov
                            Wally 255
                            Colt cams Tri flow turbo bumpsticks. .218 TRUE duration .288 adv, .363 lift
                            Act 6 puck, stock pressure plate
                            Trans saver brace
                            Fidanza 9lb fw, which i might change.

                            Old school goodies;
                            Translucent pink greddy turbo timer.
                            Apexi AVC-R boost controller, needs a solenoid.

                            The red probe will also be painted soon, due to fucking sun faded garbage tri coat paint that ford loved in the 90's. Think were going to do a very subtle custom mix of the laser red that originally came on the car with a few pearls/flakes. Likely gold to make it flop more orange in sunlight, and some white pearl just to calm down the effect of the gold, trying to keep away from a mica color though.

                            Oh and lastly, been doing up a few things in the refinishing category, like these vette salad shooters for my dude Tyler.

                            Doing a set of pirelli p slots (9 slot) this week for a mk2 VRGTI this week, hopefully ill have my equips done soon as well.
