  • New from Latvia /1986 Audi 200 Vagon/

hello, want to introduce to myself and my car a bit.
I come from Latvia, city Jelgava. my name is Peter.
so bout the car - it has been built for 3 years, and will continue on, because i use this car as my everyday ride, so its never boring with it.
3 main points whats done with car
    - changed the engine from 2.2 T to 2.5 TDI.
    - repainted the whole car
    - got an original audi 200 20V / 5000 bumpers and made 20V replica and lowered the car a bit

    so, few pics
    before

    and now

    and for the next season..

and if someone's intereseted, you can read more detailed info here -> http://forum.group44.de/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=144726

      Sexy.
There's nothing left but the shameful clean-up.

The new wheel choice will be perfect for the Audi. Good taste.

            thanks for good words
ok, decided to add some more pics to show what i have done with the car
heres about first 2 months, while i owned it

installed an engine. waiting for wiring and ecu to be done

dont know why now, but then i had an idea of installing this

some first drives with some chineese rims. actually i admit, the car looked awful

            low?

heres something before starting to build an exterrior

            comparing to cooper

            drag racing times...

and here starts the interesting part. found smth i was looking for 2 years. original wide fenders from Audi 200 20V

note the mcgyver tape under rear bumper had a little rust coming out

now all welded and getting ready for paintwork. for some time was thinking what color will it be. then decided to paint it in Inferno Red Crystal Pearl

            to be continued.

so then in all got pretty and low. well not so low as i was imagining, but still. now im thinking what suspension could i make, because i cant really find any coilovers that aret overprced, and all because of front suspension. only what comes in mind are air bags, but theres still a lots of work to do before that.

                making some smoke

                still needs about -50 mm

also, im looking for USA headlamp reflector-parking light corners.

and the idea how should it look like with the new rims..
