  • Greetings from New Mexico

    Thought I'd introduce myself...

I'm a lover of all that is VAG. Pretty simple as I've never owned another manufacturers car as long as I've been driving. I hold an appreciation for all cars regardless of make model or type. But, my heart belongs firmly to the Volkswagen Audi Group.

Look forward to what I'm sure will be many interesting conversations and i'm sure learning about a few things that will require me to evict a few penguins from my iceberg.

    Cheers-
    George

    Oh..currently driving a 2012 Golf R and 1983 Rabbit GTI Sport

With almost all of the Euro aesthetic upgrades that I want to do complete; OEM Recaro's, LED Tails, Black housing headlights and various OEM Euro interior parts (minus the rear view camera and folding mirrors - which are coming in a week), I'm still looking for the right wheels to finish the look. This search is on going right now as there are so many choices out there that I am trying to find just the right set of custom build wheels.

Within the next 2 months I will be adding a set of VWR StreetSport Plus Adjustable Damper Coilovers to get he ride height right for both street use and autocross. I will also be adding a set of upgraded front and rear sways with a switchable Haldex controller for better response from the rear end to round out the suspension and drivetrain for now.

After my trip to London in July I'll be doing a full HPA TBE and upgrading the current ECU software to Stage 2+.

The final addition will be a bigger/upgraded turbo package from an unknown supplier. I say unknown because there are a few different companies right now that are producing full kits to push the max potential out of this car. I'm hoping that by Nov-Dec of 13' I'll have around 500hp at the wheels when everything is finished.

                  wow... i've havn't seen a whit golf R yet
Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons

                  Sincerely,
                  The Wagon Mafia:Inner Circle
P.S. Is your tail a wagon?

                  Show cars are lame.
