  • Mk1 Jetta from NC.

Long time lurker, like most everyone else here. My daily driver is an '84 Jetta, minimal stance nowadays honestly.

    Pictars:

Shortly after I got it - Cabby bumpers and coilovers:

LeCastellets and a little more low:

Had 13x8 Diamonds - pretty much turned into scrap metal after 6 months, sold them. The molding and trim started falling off so - like an idiot - I took it all off.

Has 13x6 Enkei 92s on it now.

Most recent - painted the GTI air dam white to match the car.

I'd say I'll put up better pictures, but I probably won't. Haha.

I also have an '84 Mustang LX, currently in the process of a 4.6 DOHC swap. It will get more low and different wheels when it's back on the road.

    Old pic of the Stang:

Anyways, good to be here. I really dig the mostly laid back atmosphere here.

      Cool man...thanks.

There's this Fox - pretty dang nice setup:

The general style discussion forum, as well as a place to post your car, or any car for that matter.

Regardless, there aren't many people going that route with them.

Yeah...my dad gave me the car so it isn't going anywhere, but if I'm gonna keep it I'm gonna make it what I want.

Awesome Jetta man, I have been saying lately that a MK1 or MK2 Jetta is in my future to act as a daily for my truck once I get sick of the Civic I picked up for that role. This one definitely helped to enforce that. I also definitely think it would look better if you got the trim back on.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this.

Oh yeah he is, I just know I spent a lot of time in that car and it's what I learned to drive in. I've always been around cars because my dad is a mechanic, so it's just kind of a big deal to me.

Thanks for the compliment, and I agree on the trim 1000000%, but I may paint it in the future, so the trim will probably stay off until then.

Good plan, any idea of what color yet? Staying white? I'm so torn between keeping my Caddy white when I respray it or changing things up. White is just such a good color for MK1s.

I think I'll stay white, it seems to be a hard color to find on a Mk1 Jetta. Not only that, but I've changed the color on cars before, and it's just too much dang work. Haha.
