Hi I've lurked around this board for a while. I have seen many fantastic builds.

Im 23 not been driving for too long. I like many styles of car's. I love seeing all the work that goes into them, i dont no too much about them myself. Tho i do like to learn. Appoligise for my spelling. I really struggle. Never done well at school.

I've had 3 cars that i have modified / played about with.

Appoligise for the quality of pics, but i dont have a fantastic camera.

This is how i baught it, but had chavy ripspeed wiper blade's that your see in a mo.


Sold the 17's, put some steels for the winter.


Helpers are still in, got about 80 mill to drop on front if i wanted too and about 50 in rear if i wanted to.

That passat was looking quite nice but damn that GTI was rough!
The cabby looks promising, nice color! I like the painted flares. Any plans yet?
I'd get rid of the clear lights and switch to OEM. Maybe a Vento front end..and proper wheels of course

Yeah cheers. I liked the gti. Was something different. Only reason it went ratty was because i ended up in a accident :/ managed to get bumper, lights, new steering wheel, rad, slam panel all for £40, had to straighten the chassis tho using a scaffholding pole, a scissor jack ratchet strap and a corrado. And for the bonnet we just stamped on it to straighten it out.
The cabby i want rid of the horrid mk4 style headlights.Personally im not to keen on the vento front. Want to get some camber adjusters, got some 14inch banded steels to go on 8.5j all round. Want to spray the car, was diggin a pastle blue in matt, but then i seen it on a cabby with a vento front. So may go olive drab? Also wanna get some leather interior.

I think i know the blue Cabby youre talking about. Saw some pics of it from H2Oi i think.

As for camber i'd get those blue plastic EZ shims. I have them and am super satisfied. You can install two pieces per side for maximum camber.

You really wanna go with 14s with the rockers already being so low? Youre gonna have a hard time filling the arches..i'd say widened 15s at least

Give the paint a good cut and buff and see if you like it like that. It doesnt look rough at all in those pics.
Or maybe sand the clear 1200 grid wet and go with a satin clear coat finish on the original paint. I can imagine that to look great

i kno i may struggle to fill the arches, but can always cheat and use spacers? Paint is pretty fresh tbh, it polishes up really well.

Has a couple of marks abit of a nasty one on the front bumper which you cant really notice in the pic, aswell as one on the rear bumper :/

Of course you can use spacers but it'll be hard nonetheless.

That is why. Tho yeah i had rated a couple of panels, but they where spares not og ones.

Nah the plates where on when i baught it lol. With the paint i want it to stand out so, downside is i just seen a olive drab mk3 on youtube, whilst finding my link
