  • Hello from New Jersey! 2009 Civic Si (FA5)

I just recently got back into the game w/ a 2009 Honda Civic Si (FA5). Bought it bone stock in May of this year. I'm looking at changing stance and look of my car by the Spring. I bought the Enkei EKM3's before the modding bug bit me. I thought I was going to just lower it and change the wheels. Took it a little further than that. lol Supercharged him and rebuilt the motor. With stock cams and internals I made 365 Whp 230 Tq. I JUST added Drag Cartel 2.2 Cams w/ Supertech Springs and Retainers. Upgraded ALOT id not all the OEM parts. Gotta break the new motor in, as well, before I re-dyno it to see what it can do. Hoping for 400+whp. Well, here's a couple of pics of my car now. Sitting on Function/Form Type 2 Coilovers w/ a Skunk 2 Rear Camber Kit.

I want CCW Classics or Works VS-XX's in gold. Some style like that with a nice chrome or polished lip.

Dynojet sheet w/ Drag Cartel 2.2 cams

375whp 239tq w/ low rev because of the new motor. I'll have an updated Dyno done in the Spring.

Hey, another FA5 owner! Awesome to see I'm not alone here.

Digging the car. Not a bad aesthetic setup, could maybe use some spacers (esp. in the front), but otherwise it's not bad at all.

That engine, though. My goodness. I've got two friends with FA5s that are running single turbo setups well past the 500 whp marker. Have you had many issues with torque steer, seeing as how you're still running the stock LSD?

Clean, not a big fan of the wheels though. But I read you are looking into another set. Anxious to see what's going on it! Power never hurts either, and you have it!

Thanks! I bought the car in May thinking I was gonna just stay stock. Maybe, just flashpro and do the intake, header and exhaust deal but I got pulled back into the scene. lol My first Si was a 99 em1 that I loved! Totaled that and stuck with a 98 GS-R for 10 years. Finally gave in and bought the 09 FA5. Fell in love w/ it and started doing major upgrades. lol

I tried 15mm spacers for a couple months but took them off because I slammed it for Honda Day at Englishtown Raceway. Won Top 100 on Saturday's Event! =)

No issues with torque steer at all. I just recently put Blox LCA's on it, as well and the ride is smooth as hell! Love it!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm looking into a set of Works VS-XX or CCW Classics.. something of that style. I want a 2.5-3 inch lip.
