64 Notchback Intro

Hey I'm Scott from Virginia.
I received the car as a gift and drove it off and on for about a year. It sat for a while and I've been in the slow SLOW process of a frame off restoration. Everything has been sandblasted, molded, and rolled. New floor pans were welded in and the frame has been painted.

This is how it was bought.


Little by little I have been getting work done. As of now I am waiting to get the cab to my friends shop for body repairs. Im going for a nice clean look. Fenders have been shaved and rolled for wider wheels.


Front air ride being build by a friend and I.


Transmission ordered and being rebuilt by Geno's aircooled.


Hope to have more progress documented and up here soon.

Yeah I saw the squareback then changed my mind to the notchback. It gave me a few headaches since I'm still new to the aircooled. And I just made a build thread, planned on doing it from the start.
