  • OK I'm a noob

I've looked around on here and the majority of the cars are insane. Love em
One thing to get me started is wtf is stance about? Just lowering cars? I see people saying stuff like my car is stanced etc why not just say lowered? I'm sure there is a reasoning behind it, so someone tell this noob all about stance
I've been looking at getting a swift sport next year at some point and hopefully that'll be my project for a while as well as my bike
Anyway loving the cars guys

Because a lowered car is exactly that, a lowered car. Usually not low enough, with junk wheels, and poor fitment.

You gotta get that wheel and tire to fender and car to ground shit goin' on. If not, it just looks like poo.

    But I'm a noob too.
It's like rock-crawling... in the streets...

So not just lowered it has to be slammed? Wheels negative camber and bulging out

Don't listen to that guy, he has no idea what he is talking about.

        stance/stans/
        Noun:
The way in which someone or something stands, esp. when deliberately adopted

every car has a stance, some people like the super slammed, skinny tire and massive camber, while some prefer big tires and slightly lowered suspensions.

That's what I was hoping for as an answer. Some cars that go to low look stupid but then others can be slammed to the floor and pull it off

yeah alot of people here like lowered cars, but stance is pretty much a personal preference on how your car sits, some go for style and other comfort and ride. Also, Welcome to stanceworks!

Definitely more about enjoying the automotive culture rather than doing specific things to specific cars. From the short time I've been on here, it feels like a completely different online community compared to most other forums.

^I strongly agree with that. My local car forum is nothing like here. That's why I stayed lol

My car has a shitty 4x4 "stance" going on now so it's definitely not just about having it low as fuck and all that. But 4x4 stance sucks ass.
