Hi to all fellow scrapers and stancelovers.
Here's a quick intro to my ride and my main hobby:
BMW 525e 1984
Engine: M20B27 5-speed manual and 92kW.
Suspension: Minor mods, tougher bushings, cut springs etc.
Wheels: 17"x8" ET10 BBS RY-020 + 5mm spacers
Season one:

Midseason: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbTk3zA4K_Y"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbTk3zA4K_Y[/ame]
Now comes the not-so-shiny part of the story.
Winter and 20+ years of abuse had taken it's toll on the body, the colour was peeling of from everywhere, rust coming out from wheelwhells, rocker panels etc. doors wouldn't shut decently and so on. Engine leaked oil from every possible gasket and smoked a lot also. Basically, the car was near dead. So i decided to give it one more chance of glory for the end of season II. Some really basic bodywork to keep the car together (front shocks were about to come through the shock mounts) and in came the Montanas:

Lowest car during the local "Lowlifer" stance club summer break

The car was never intended to be somesort of showstopper or something to spend a fortune on, just something to have fun with and turn heads. It did that part perfectly, the next step will be taking out the old (and now dead) 2.7l engine and install an M60B40, fabricate some proper coilovers, install a roll-cage and start driving seriously with it. Atleast that was the plan untill recently, cuz actually at the start of December I will probably board a plane and move to L.A to look for I don't even know what. Need a change of enviroment and an adventure. On the to-do list is also obtaining a bimmer (this time maybe the e21 or even an e23).
PS! if anyone has work to offer in LA to a guy that knows his way around cars and especially car parts, then hit me up.
Gonna conclude this with a drawing my frined made for my birthday, sharkstyle:
