  • new guy from Montreal, Canada.

So, I've been following SW on facebook for a while and ended up on this site yesterday and decided to look around! So far I've seen some pretty crazy set ups and am going to show the little I have to show off haha :p I have some big projects for my cars but right now i'm in the "paying them off mode" lol.

so this is what I got, not as stanced as most you guys here but it's a start

    My daily driver/winter beater:

2006 Saturn Ion 2.2 ecotec 5 speed, all stock with Megan Racing coils (2"drop)

And this is my project car!

juste baught it 2 months ago, I have a bunch of stuff to do for the winter to get it running good for next year, anyway here goes,

It's a 1997 chevy cavalier with a v6, 3.8 supercharged motor, with cams and a smaller SC pully, as of now I'm at 295 WHP and 320 trq.
It's got a small drop on it but I have no idea what the coils are and the shock are KYB GR2.

this winter I'm putting in some new coils, probably Megan's like the saturn since I'm satisfied with those and the ones on it are finished, thats just for now until I have more cash for better.
I'm going to get/build some traction bars to prevent wheel hop since I bent my axle, wich caused it to destroy my oil filter, you can just imagine the rest ...
rear disk brake conversion, with new brakes all around.
maybe a new paint job if I have the time.

that pretty much sums it up! I eventually want to go either full coilovers or bagged, I'm not sur yet :p

thanks I'm looking into coilovers maybe during the winter if I have the money!

the set up I'm aiming for right now drops me 4'', I got some spacers to install, I'm eventually going for a bit bigger wheels and wide ass tires, should be some fun times!

:0 Cavaliers! Im not alone in this world. Mines still stock as far as suspension goes tho Eibach Sportlines soon even though I want coilovers. I have to keep my car drivable everywhere so I cant lower it much and sportlines should work for me. Any rim suggestions for a cav though?

yeah I know what you mean, I can't go too low right now because of the way the parking lot is where I live but by the spring I should be down a good 4 inches! It's a start

As for rims I dont really know, I have enkei 16's can't remember the full specs but I want to go up to 17 for sur, but I don't know how wide I wanna go, time will tell.

I like them too but I doubt they would look nice on a cavy! I've been looking around and so far I saw some enkei evo (forget the number) that I liked but I'm gonna stay with my 16s for now
