  • 2010 Ralliart Sportback Apocalypto

Hey all! Joining this site to share my unique take on the RA Sportback. I recently drilled some fender flares on and I'm currently looking to get wider wheels to get that rauh welt begriff stance. (Those not familiar with rwb can google it.)

Thanks. I'm on 18x9.75 XXR 527 on 235/35/18. If anyone would like to trade their wider wheels for mine, let me know lol...

Welcome to stance|works I hope you find everything you need here and share what you have with us.

        RWB stance?

To achieve that you need near zero suspension travel and all of your work to look very well executed. I would tuck that exhaust a bit higher so it is much more flush with the rear bumper, it looks like it hangs a bit. Did you cut the metal beneath the fender flare out? I've seen some cars with flares that aren't cut beneath the flares smh. Also, RWB uses real wheels man, no **** on your xxr's they look good though.

          Thanks for the welcome!

Haha, I didn't say I was looking to join RWB, just that I like the look of wide wheels filling out fender flares. I'm thinking about cutting the exhaust tips off and replacing them with larger tips. I would like to get "real" wheels in the future but for now I can only ball so hard. Gotta say, XXR makes a pretty good product. I've thrashed these things on NYC potholes and have had no damage done whatsoever whereas I previously cracked a set of SSRs in the same conditions. The nice thing about these is even if I mess one up, it's only $150 to replace. Plus, they weigh only a pound or two more than RPF1s the same size. (20lbs for 18x10 RPF1 vs 21.5lbs for 18x9.75 527.) XXR provides a good product for a low price... Capitalism works!

Hahahaha, I did not mean to join them, but for the look.

Thats a nice subie you had before, I am split between those head lights, I don't know if I love them or **** them.

Finally someone who is able to back up "fake" wheels properly, most people defend them for the reason they are cheap and look the same.

Take a look at the RWB ae86 they built a while back. Lancers aren't nearly as curvy as those porsches so those really wide fender flares won't really work on a lancer. Hopefully the more subtle flares, wide wheels, meaty tires with no stretch, lip kit, and whale tail spoiler of that ae86 should give you a bit of inspiration.

Ive made up my mind, I actually love those headlights hahahah, what kind are they on your subie?

I love the sportbacks but it has soo much rake built into the design and the wheels look sooo proportionally small to the body i'm not sure the rwb balance is possible to pull off
Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons

                Sincerely,
                The Wagon Mafia:Inner Circle
P.S. Is your tail a wagon?

                Show cars are lame.

Haha thanks! They're made by Morette. There were only a couple of sets in existence for the 04-05 wrx.

I've seen RWB's ae86. It has led to my career aspirations of being a janitor in their facilities in exchange for leftover ramen and being able to grope the cars as I please.

I took off the top wing and added a lower deck wing to give the profile a "911-esque" effect, although I know my car is not a Porsche, and I would need to buy a Porsche for actual Porsche sexyness.

Here's a camera phone shot to help explain what I'm talking about:

Get SSR SP1s and powdercoat them to bronze.
