  • rcs_888's E36 vert

    Hey everyone,
Been on this site for the past couple of years an been looking at all the AMAZING looking cars and fell inlove with a slammed red E36 convertible on 19" BBS wheels a couple of years ago and from there i knew that i wanted an E36 vert.
Here in aus they are extremely hard to come across in manual and the 2.8L but after around 6~8months of looking i stumbled across this one,

then after a while i had been driving interstate alot so had been doing alot of night driving and i decided that the stock headlights just werent cutting it anymore and i decided to install 55W HID'd in the high and low beams and while i was there decided to put in some AE's i know its not some ppls taste but i like em so ehh lol

LHS has HID and RHS has stock

Then i finally got my shipment of goodies i had been waiting for

and finally installed and daily driver lol ony decent pic before i took it off the road lol

Then i lost my DL so the car was taken off the road and it has changed a little bit since then haha. I have purchased my 3rd set of wheels coz each set i havent been 100% on lol, i buy them and then i look around and see heaps of ppl rolling with them so i kinda get over it coz it doesnt stand out lol and now i have finally managed to get a set that i love

Im not 100% happy on the look of it as i still hadnt touched the guards and its running 215/45's on 9's so their not massively stretched but with out rolling the lip or pumping the guard it was okay.

so i then lipped the guard and it was a bit better

finally pretty happy with the outcome

and now just playing around with different colours on the throwing start section

cheer everyone for reading and im open to criticism

Cheers guys, ive had to raise the front up 5mm (1/4" i think lol) as u couldnt brake and turn lol so i have 17x8+20 on the front and 215/45 tyres in im thinking about trying 205/45 so that they dont rub. But it just seems to be lacking something?? Weather i need to lift it an have more poke or run skinnier tyres on the rear im not sure :-\

I ran 205/40 and 215/40 with these spec wheels and was happy with how it sat.

But im currently looking at going bags. I took the shocks out the rear the other day an took the front springs out and wet myself and everyone there loved it so i think bags are next on the adgenda
