  • The Wert Intro

Hello all, I'm new here but been lurkin' ever since I heard about the site - excellent shit here.

Currently live in LA, go to school in SD.

Own a 1967 VW Squareback (It's Not a Car, It's a Type III) and a 2007 Mazda RX-8 (Zoom Zoom). Like my signature says, I'm tucking rim... hard - unfortunately.

If it were up to me, the VW would have MOAR tuck, some rims, and airbags - but it's fine for now. Car is pretty much stock, slammed (factory adjustable suspension, shorter shocks and Smart car tires up front), OG paint, replaced seat upholstery and dash pad but otherwise OG interior, short shifter. Freeway is not its forte, but its a sweet fuckin' cruiser.

The Mazda is unfortunately riding on stocks because I'm broke - anyone want to donate me some Enkeis, Volks, or AMEs? Car is on H&R springs, Koni shocks, front and rear Mazdaspeed strut bars, AEM CAI, ECU reflash; I have a catback that still needs to be installed. Currently getting about 13mpg.

Thanks, I really like them both, but the RX-8 needs a bit more personalization - too stock! Problem is I baby it because of the low miles ("nd becuz jdm partz cost mad money YO"), and don't want to go too crazy on a dark-colored car. I definitely need to get my flush on though; hopefully without coilovers. I have a unique idea for rims, but I don't know how I'll find them...

Until then, the VW is my baller car - anyone can have nice paint, it's shitty paint that's hard to come by! That's what I keep telling myself.
