  • New Guy E36 M3 on BBS Style 5s

Hey guys, just doing a little intro. I have an e36 M3 and a Nissan 240sx. The M3 was just fitted with some BBS Style 5s yesterday and lowered on some FK coilovers. The 240sx has some XXR 526 rims with on JIC Coilovers.

These cars have been a work in progress for 2-4 years. The M3 has a 2JZ engine (easy with the comments...lol) and the 240 has an SR20DET. Both of them have been slammed as far as they can go without killing the tires or busting oil pans.
    Hope ya like!

Assuming the swap was done well the e36 could be cool but that front end is absolutely awful

Also bumping an hour old thread is lame as shit

Lol....new to the forum thing....got a little carried away, my bad. The 2jz swap was done right, I will post pics later. I had the center caps painted yellow as well.....just a fan of the color. What's wrong with the front end? The mean look is not styling?

Man, if you painted those style 5's something not yellow it would come together better for me. Not black either. I rarely ever condone black wheels. If you're looking for color in the wheels then do something that contrasts nicely. Any metal finishes are always a good choice too. The lips look great. I gotta agree with the majority though, that eyebrow is really killing it for me too. The swapped front on the 240 looks mean enough as it is. Keep the e36 subtle.

Props on the 2jz swap though.

I can't tell from the pictures but those look like one piece headlights and that is blasphemy on an E36. also eyelids... in your case the fricken unibrow. Other than that I kind of like it. Dakar is my favorite E36 color next to technoviolet. I have black centered style 5's on my black E36 soo... there's that. I've never been big on the jz swaps into a 6 cyl BMW... just turbo the original 6 and gooooo. Nicely done either way.

I actually don't mind it on the colour matched Style 5's for something different. Yellow is a hard colour to choose a contrasting colour for wheels, and I think this look works fine. I'm not a fan of the head or tail lights, or the in your face glowing guages though.

Thanks for all your inputs. The headlight thing is my serious bad. I had them swapped when I first bought the car just because they had Angel Eyes not knowing that I could upgrade the factory ones. I have grown tired of the aftermarket ones myself. We will see if can find some OEM.

Again thanks for the inputs, every car is a work in progress no matter how much you got done.
