  • MkII from Germany

    Hey there,

I've been admiring the cars on this forum for some time now and since I finaly got a car myself I figured it was time to introduce myself.

Names Tristan, Student from Germany and I recently bought my first car. An '89 Golf GL MkII, old Golfs have always been my dream cars and I was so stoked to finaly get my hands on one in alright condition.

    The day I bought it:

Being in Germany sadly means I am limited on what I can legally do to the car, especially when it comes to low but I hope to do as much as I can within the law to make the car look how I want it to.

This is what the car looks like at the moment:

Yes it's not lowered yet but I already have this waiting in my garage for a first stage:

It is still very much a work in progress so be gentle :P

    Cheers,
    Tristan

          welcome

since ur from germany, and this is a mk2

needs to be "tief und breit"

also loose the big bumpers and put small chrome ones (since u don't have the wheel arches too)

Eh. Fuck those regulations and slam it. From what I know of Hanover it's not like the cops there care that much if you're lowered past the limitations... I know a few people from there and their cars are way lower than allowed.

            Put some 9x16s on it!
