    hey guys. new to the site.. been into cars since i was 15.. lived in okinawa for 8 years so naturally drifting was my first love... older now and moving to my 2nd favorite look... still gotta have the power though.. still have the urge to drift.. so here is my project...

                      2J in a G50? Why not put it in a LS? They look a ton better, lol, and can be had with factory air.

                      Props for doing something different though.

                        Welcome to SW my fellow G50 owner. IMO I wouldn't do a 2J swap unless I already had the engine laying around. If I was to buy an engine to swap I would do a RB26. But to save some money I would just do a 5spd conversion on the VH motor which is already powerful enough to slide around.

                          i looked at all my options... ls1 is still a possibility.. really just want to do something no one has done.. my motor has 200,000 miles.. so i really dont want to do a 5sp swap and then it goes.... i have a few friends here with supras so they have a lot of aftermarket parts laying around.. like a mini store. haha.. and they can tear them down and put them back together... so thats another reason im going that route..
