Been lurking for a while. Just got around to installing coils. No one really reads this blah blah

Friend talked me into refinishing a set of wheels. First wheel pick up Volk CV Pro 17x8 +45 17x9 +45



Split wheels cleaned faces sent them off for powder. Cleaned the barrels and lips. Stripped clear from lips. Wet sanded lip using 3M Course, Medium, and Fine sanding sponges. Polished using 2x Brown Compound 2x White Compound and then Mothers mag and aluminum polish. Hand polished every bolt. Cleaned the center nuts using some silverware tarnish remover. The color is Prismatic Powders Cream Soda Blue over a silver base and coated with clear.



As it sits right now. 15mm spacer up front 5mm rear for now until I can relip them all to 17x9. Tires 205/40/17 Front and 215/40/17 Rear. I don't have many good shots yet, but here is what I have.









Needs work, but it's a start. Thanks for looking. I'll get some better pics soon.

The pics are misleading because the ones where you can see the back were literally right off the jack. Had not driven it or let it settle. In the rear I removed the locking ring and the perch is all the way. No possible way to go lower unless I remove the perch. Front is almost hitting cv boot. The rubber under the bumper that hangs down is almost ripped off completely. I'll get better shots then you can make your final call on 'lower'
