    Jazz Blue mk4 from Northern Ireland

    Hey guys!! I'm Chris and here is my Golf GT TDI. The GT TDI is a UK model with a choice of 110, 115, 130 and 150bhp 1.9 TDI engines with GTI factory spec. Recaro's are a factory option on these (as with GTIs), and GT TDIs come with black/blue, black/red, black/grey or all black seats. Anyway this is my daily driver and is as low as country roads over here can manage (without air)!! I know it's nowhere near as low as some of you guys, but my girlfriend lives on a bumpy lane and any lower and I cant get to her house (literally). Here's the pics! Photos from last week (after fitting Polo 6N suspension top mounts in front - lowers an inch over standard).













    Then 4 days after fitting the top mounts I was just too low for Northern Ireland roads!!



    Banged the sump on the smallest speedbump in the town (got overconfident and flew over it - sump clipped it) and lost all but 1 litre of oil on a 1 mile way home. The trail of oil is visible the whole way into the middle of the town!!

    New sump is on order and will be fitting ASAP, but unfortunately for me guys, I WON'T be going any lower! lol. So I'm just gonna admire all you guy's cars, I just can't manage to drive any lower in this country!

            Cheers guys!! I actually had a full anniversary kit on it before but I cracked the front splitter (fibreglass) into two pieces, so cheapest option was a standard splitter until I get a new one!! Still have my side skirts out back but they were not the best fit so will replace it sometime soon.... I lay in bed last night unable to sleep (too many daydreams) and began pricing air suspension.... started considering it again, will make the car easier to get onto ramps, but would be expensive!! I love this site, just wish the roads out here weren't so bad!! Must take a photo of some of the uneven roads and speedbumps til you guys see what we have to deal with everyday!!
