  • New Guy with E28

    Hi all,

Just thought I'd post a quick hello. I've known of stanceworks for quite some time now, but I just never registered. Anyhow, I have an '88 535is that is in various states of disrepair in my garage that I plan on customizing appropriately when it comes to the suspension. Right now it is still riding on the stock springs (and I'm pretty sure stock dampers) from the factory. Looks like a 4x4 compared to a lot of other E28s out there. Here's a few photos:

Some of you BMW guys may have seen these before as I'm also a member of several BMW/Euro forums. If you have, car is still the same, no change. Just trying to refresh all the important safety bits before dropping it. Well, that's all for now. Hope to post up some photos of the new suspension soon. Enjoy!
    regards,
    Joel

Thanks. It has a few thin spots you can't really see in those photos. Probably over-buffed by previous owners throughout the years. It is definitely a solid canvas to start from. I just never seem to have the time to get stuff done on it. It has pretty much been like that for the last 18 months now. Slowly but surely...
