I do what I can do myself, and anything I can't do I get involved in as much as I can :] servicing I do myself, and my old wheels I polished myself from powder coat which for the record was an absolute biatch to get off haha! I haven't in all honesty done or had done any engine work - it didn't really seem worth it to a 1ltr so just upkeep really! And nothing has ever really gone wrong with it either [touch wood] but I bought it completely bog standard...

It's had change of wheels, a knock with the lowering stick with springs and top mounts, scirocco gt2 front seats, carpeted floor in the back and seats removed, flared rear arches and a respray [which I didn't do myself but did help with the prep work!], custom exhaust tip [bit of fun, also not done myself], custom door cards for speakers and cut down pockets [again had them made but helped with design and paint], bump strips removed, had to replace a wing mirror which I definitely did myself as I doubt anyone else's hands would have got in there haha, decat [helped with but my welding skills weren't exactly up to scratch unfortunately haha!], clear front indies and side repeaters, painted the vw badges and some bits in the bay cream, custom gear knob from you guys in the US ;], made the gear gaiter myself from a scrap of faux leather haha but it was a quick job and needs redoing... I'm sure theres more but I'm too tired to think straight... And sorry for the essay I got a bit excited :P

Hahaha no I don't unfortunately :[ Purely because I get paranoid about anyone seeing my car, recognising anywhere photo's were taken and turning up and damaging it! I do however have a massive build thread on dirtystancing and polo3 that I will eventually find some links to! I would start one here but it's not really worthy :P

In all honesty it can't go that much lower without a lot of work anyway, the exhaust has split once, and actually snapped in half [from a drain cover of all things!] once too and the steering arms rub like mad and clonk on full lock but I'm really unsure about this whole chassis notch thing as I've been reading up on it and on these where everyone does the notch apparently it's a very integral part for strength and the last thing I want is to wreck it or risk my life if [touch wood] I were to have any kind of accident :[

I could never sell it! And it wouldn't make much money anyway, not to get something I'd enjoy more anyway! So wouldn't be worth it, I'm just going to save up for a 2nd car instead :P

Yes I do :P it'll be an addition rather than a swap though! And it will be a good year or so before I can afford it.

It's a hybrid... BUT the hybrid works to ADD power when you're thrashing it so it's all good. It's nothing special but I would modify it, just something so I can do all the work I want to do to the polo in my own time, things like another full respray [colour change], wheel refurb, and an engine swap... well a rather big conversion really ;] but, I know everyone will **** me for this, but I'm keeping it all rather hush hush! Sorry :[

They'll still be over £500, it's because the hub and strut are all inbuilt in one piece on the front, unlike most other cars where they're separate components, so you're basically buying a coil over kit WITH hubs etc.

                                so i'm guessing 350 - 370£ you'll have them
