  • e36 on salad shooters

i wasn't really on here much before, but now that i got my e36 I'm slowly starting to this more. anyways i just put salad shooters on my car yesterday.

    today, took these out.

sorry for the shitty iPhone pics. maybe when I'm more satisfied ill get some better shots. still need to get bigger spacers for the rear, and lower the front some more. tried doing that today but my wheel hit my spring so i had to crank them back up... i think i need to adjust my camber a little bit but thats for another day. and as for the grey bumper, I'm getting some body work done this week then respraying the front end hopefully next week.

Wheel specs: 16x9.5 195/50 all around. currently using shitty auto zone universal spacers but its about 15mm in the front 7mm in the rear. that will change soon...

Good call on removing the perches. I bet that looks a lot better. 16s are hard to pull off, but looks like you're on the right track.

little bit of spacers up front may help with the adjusters hitting the tire(having the same problem right now)

thats always a last resort, but i didn't really want to poke anymore than that, and i already ordered spacers for the front :face palm: even when i had my stock wheels on with a 225/50 the tire would rub the coil over and i needed a small spacers to clear, so I'm thinking my camber might be a little off. i might try to mess around with it today

and thanks to everyone else for your input! much appreciated

Those wheels look awesome. Never even considered them on an E36 before. Good luck with getting the stance just right.

thanks! saw one other guy pull them off, thats where i got some specs from. ever since i saw his i knew i wanted a set for my car. i always liked salad shooters on black cars, especially mk3 jettas.

now I'm looking for some input on headlight/foglight/city/hid setup. I've been debating this all day and still can't make up my mind. i had hid's in my old b5 a4 (10k headlight 3k fog) and i loved them. I'm pretty set on getting 10k's again for my headlights, but what about fogs? i know a lot of bmw guys don't run "yellow" hid fogs and i don't mean french/lamin x. i have amber city lights (clear lens though) and I'm wondering if i get 3k fogs if that would be a little too much going on? i could do 10k fogs and headlights but I've always loved 3k fogs, not sure if id love them as much on an e36 though... any thoughts?

Looks good man, that's the direction I was headed in (salad shooters), but was kinda scared of the large spacers lol. It'll look on point once that front end gets painted....
As for headlights I have the dj auto projectors from Ddm and I'm using the 4k hid and it lights up the whole road no problem

go for it! the only thing i wish i would of done differently is run staggered with 8.5's up front. i have some clearance problems with the coilovers and can only go so low until i get bigger spacers, so i think my front will poke a little more than the rear but it should look good.
