Hey Guys,

My names Adam, I have been lurking on here for a while and following the FB page so I figured I'd sign up...

I mostly just mess around with supermoto's/dirtbikes, but I've been into BMWs for a long time.



I bought my BMW about 6 years ago, looking just like this



93 325is, currently 200,000miles on her, M3 suspension, H&R springs, M3 brakes, other little basic bolt on crap blah blah blah...



Used to be my track car but after a series of unfortunate events I figured it was time to just make her a horrible atrocity for other bmw owners to balk at around town... Basically the uglier it gets, the more I like it. Dubbed it the ShitMissile once it went low and black; you know, not because its fast like a missle, but because it's a piece of shit that attempts to fly under the radar! Anyways, here she is now...

The last 6 years have been hard on the poor girl, and she's at an all time low... har har har

Seriously though.



As you can clearly see I had a drunken fit working with the fender roller


I guess this is where the next stage of her life begins, If you guys show any interest in the poor thing maybe I'll start a build thread... Interior is probably coming out soon, and a set of Corbeau's are going in, thats the only plan for the near future, but we'll see!

so why did you hand paint it? the white paint looked pretty good to me

M3 front bumper will make your car look 1100 times better, especially with the steelies

Well, there is a big gap in the story... Novel time!

About 3 years ago, someone backed into it, followed by some piss poor insurance body work, which lead to a new rear quarterpanel that was a different color, eventually showing cracks and rust at the seams, and finally the clear coat peeling right off (over the course of maybe 2 or 3 years!) This drove me crazy! There was an air pocket along the trunk about a foot long that continued up towards the roof. The grand finale for the paint was me deciding to drive it too early in the spring, which led to this after catching some black ice in a fork in the road, leading to me going straight between the two options head first into the woods!



Thankfully there was a grassy enbankment for me to launch off of, slowing me down before I hit a boulder at the edge of the woods. I wish I had taken pictures of the tiretracks in the snow because you could clearly see I had gone airborne for about 15 feet.

Unfortunately this let to three things:

Ruined paint/body
Broken Struts/Coil springs/Control arms/Tie-rods
Two flatspotted M-Contours (That I spend DAYS sanding down to paint/polish (never really liked them though)

I was so heartbroken that I just parked it. For about a year and a half. By the time I got inspired to start getting it going again I decided I was going to go the rad rod/cheap route, my vision being to spend as little money as possible, make it as awful looking as possible, and basically the bottom line is that I want to have a little fun with it again rather than letting it sit in the graveyard with the other BMW's behind my shop...

SO... Here was the order of events.

Undercoating (yes, rubberized undercoating)



Steelies



H&R Coils (along with absolutely every other front suspension part, nothing survived) and some serious no fucks given fender rolling for clear the tires



Heat gun Schmeat Gun (this buffed right out with a whiz-wheel and some more 3M)

So yeah. It's gross, most people dont like it, but the car was as good as dead so it owes me nothing. I'll probably just keep making it rattier, I have a plan up my sleeve for a little wheel modification, but I am scared to pull the trigger on it, Mainly because it will probably add about 10lbs to the already 45lb wheels!
