Hey all.

Someone may recognise my username, I post on a fair few forums. This week I have become so addicted to this site.

Before I go into detail about the cars I drive, it must be said I have seen an E28 BMW that I have my heart set on and would happily sell the MX-5 to fund it, but no one is buying. I need a stanced car in my life. I need a car that can wear the stance works sticker without people telling me I'm doing it wrong.

Ok so the daily is this. It is a 2005 Mini Cooper. When this was taken it was on FK AK coilovers. Note to self I will never buy flawed knocking cheap crap ever again. It is back at standard height now, still has the wheels but no front spots. My fiancee' uses this car more than me.





The second, my toy, is this UK 1.8 MX-5.









Some of the mods it has are;

Koni sports supension
Stainless Manilfold, cat and exhaust - must find out which one
struct braces
K&N filter
Alloys - no idea what they are but have some dish
flat bottomed steering wheel
Mintex pads and discs up front drilled and grooved on the rear


There's probably a few more but I'll add as I remember.

I really want to get a really retro car OR stance this one. Starting with wheels and then MAYBE coilover suspension. I'd love some more mods such as a roll bar and a ducktail spoiler, deep dish steering wheel etc etc.

All comments quiestions welcome, advice on what to do with the Mazda will be truely appreciated!

Looks like my other halves Mini now. What spotlamps did you have on it? We're looking into fitting some.

Welcome to S/W dont forget to check out the UK section as for the MX5 i say lower it first with some camber and get some spacers and just go from there onwards or check out the UK members rides there are a few MX5's on there for ideas

I had WIPAC's on, had to wire them in, was a bit of a mare. newministuff in Formby do a very good job and can supply, but it's a bit of a hike from Derby. Maybe try Lohen in Staffordhsire? Sure they could do the same job.

I will have a look at the UK side, still feeling my way around the forum. I'm still tempted to swap or sell the MX-5. Two of my dream cars are E30 318is's and Mitsubishi Starions. Would LOVE to stance one of those two. if I keep it though, spacers sound like a good idea! Could hopefully find some that aren't too expensive either. The missus and I have just got our first house so money is a bit tight!
