  • no stance... damn.

So im new to stanceworks, and ive only been into the dub scene seriously for under a year. I started with a stock mkiv golf gls, avus and all. But now I got myself a full time job, and can finally start building my car.

I first got interested in what people can do to their dubs when i saw a bagged Imola Yellow 20th w/ baller rs's, down the street from me.

For me this is the start of my build and this is what i had about a year ago:

and within that year it has changed into a completely different car in my eyes:

now i plan on doing alot to this car in the next couple of months, from air, to quite possibly a 1.8t swap (2.slow now). But i like the fact i have a 2.0, it doesnt need to be fast i can focus on stance only.

lastly hello to the stanceworks community!

I've been taking my cars to Altered Image Customs for complicated things. They're located in Plainfield and have been around for a while. The only issue I have is that their new location has a horrible driveway...

I get why you would want to do it, but yeah... I can understand shops turning you down for that. Not many places would want to do that kind of wheel fab work... My only suggestion is to make best friends with the guys at rotiform...

i talked to rotiform and they said it would be easier for them to make their own sawblade faces, but i didnt want that because then they wouldnt be sawblades :/ lol. oh well.
