New to Stance Works, but not new to Stance

ME: Hey guys, I was a long time Dubber mainly hanging out on the Vortex forum for the past 5 or 6 years, and more recently on the Bimmer forums, thought id start hanging out here a lil bit.

Im from SOCAL where I work as a film director / editor / VFX artist so I am usually super swamped but I try to get away to work on my cars and hang out as much as I can.

91 BMW 318is
The picture is from the previous owner, not terribly low but its fast. Too many mods to list at the moment but a great car.


62 Studebaker GT Hawk
This is my Studebaker GT Hawk which is pretty much stock and still needs some work, rebuilt engine about a year ago, just put on a set of Flowmasters and started work on the stereo, future plans include, interior restoration, rebuild the tranny, and of course, slam it on bags.

Thanks guys, I get a lot of compliments on the Stude, one of the issues I have with it is recently the clutch wont open all the way and when i shift to first in just says no and grinds really bad...this usally happens at street corners with beautiful ladies, guys who compliment me on it just moments before, or at intersections with other cars...so embarrassing, thats the reason for the planned tranny rebuild

Man I wish I had a Stude shop near me, my american car mechanic is good but sometimes we get stumped pretty easily, like fender disassembly took us 6 hours to figure out, gotta invest in a shop manual for that thing.

Anyways Ill get some moar pics of the Stude this weekend, but I just drove the E30 back from San Francisco last night, PO had it waiting for me in storage till I could come back up and get it since it was purchased, so much fun.

Heres some more pics of it, I know its not really Stanced out, but I am not looking to slam this one, saving that for the Stude, this is planned more for the track, front end will come down to eliminate the wheel gap tho.

Right now make it so driving it isnt such a pain, theres something wrong with the clutch / linkage, my mechanic has it now looking it over to figure out the problem, then fix door latches so the doors actually shut the first time around, finish the stereo, do somewhat of a restore on the interior, then once I am done with all the above, I will work on the wheels / tires, then possibly put it on bags. Right now I am not trying to put to much money into it since I just blew about 3 grand on exhaust and engine rebuild...right now I am doing some small tinkering on the e30.

Purchase or acquire more unusual cars like the Studebaker by any means necessary.
