Hi. I'm DW... you can call me DW or dw... I'll understand. I live in Cambridge and drive a 2002 Passat wagon with the trustworthy W8. There are three car seats in the back, and I've lowered the car a few inches so the kids can get in and out easier. right?
I've enjoyed the build threads here... might post the build of a '32 Ford I did a few years ago. Nothing stancy, just a simple deal that's getting driven all around the US and Canada.
I've only ever owned VWs... first a 93 Golf CL (just lowered and a few other little things), then a 92 Jetta (left it alone), a 99.5 VR6 Jetta (dual exhaust, springs, some little things), and now the Passat. If I continue the trend, I'll have to get maybe a V10 TDI Touareg or something.
Yes, the wheels need center caps. No, I haven't spent a whack of time on the ride height. It was low enough that my wife commented every time she drove it (daily), and so I raised it a bit. Now I'm only leveling a few local speed bumps with the body seams. Such is Mango.
