  • SoCal Mazdaspeed Miata

Figured I would check out the forums since half the cars in Socal have stanceworks stickers on them, good stuff on here so far. Here is my 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata, not a crazy stance but I tried to keep it all functional

    mod list-
    OEM hardtop
    Tein Coilovers
Konig Flatouts with nitto neo gens
    aem intake
    hks black edition bov
    begi tbi
    megan racing exhaust
    megan racing downpipe
    megan racing o2 defouler
    FM o2 modifier
    hid headlights/fogs
    ebay FMIC
    harddog double diagonal roll bar
    harddop harness bar
    g force 5 point harnesses
sparco sprint 5s with goodwin racing brackets
    aem a/f
    aem turbo timer
    aem boost gauge
    (I know there's a few more goodies I'll ad later here's a few pictures)
First day I got it bone stock

    A month later

Here's my first MSM that unfortunately got into an accident

Before I came addicted to Miatas I had a pretty much stock 300zx Twin turbo
After the timing belt went, decided it was more than I wanted to work with

And my first car 2002 RSX Type S vinyl wrapped matte white

My friend had a 2004 MSM and I loved it. The engine wasn't quite as fun as the slightly modified 2000 S2000 he had before (an old lady dispatched that one for him) but overall I liked the car better than the S2K.

Are you going to paint the top or leave it like that?

The top actually looks pretty good in black, I'll probably keep it that color but eventually I want to paint the entire car white and I'll match the top obviously

Looks great, but crank it down a wee bit more and it'll look greater plus from a motorsports perspective will be more functional.

its pretty much at the point where any lower the control arms will start to angle too much making it less functional, NB miatas are hard to make really low since the chassis sits so much lower than the body, once I get fender flares it will have a really nice tuck and be at ideal performance height
