Hi guys, my name is Jimmy and I'm from south Louisiana. I'm 23 years old, going on 24. I'm not new to cars or stance, but I am new to posting my cars on the internet. I usually only lurk forums and learn what I can, but an injury recently sustained at work has put me out of work for a while while it heals. So, I figured with all this idle time I might as well join and post up a little bit.
My current project is my 1979 Mercedes 300sd. I bought this car in december of 2010 after my 4th gen civic wagon project was totaled by a hit and run driver. I bought the Mercedes because I had previously owned a 1990 F350 with the 7.3 diesel and I fell in love with diesel motors. Anyways, I can't seem to find any w116's already on this site sharing very much of their cars with us, so here I am.

Unknown number of coils cut (I just kept cutting and then later cutting again and again and eventually lost track)
Nissan hardbody shocks in the front (stock shock's body eventually was too long as I went lower and lower)
AC and heater deleted
Battery relocated to trunk
Engine raised approx .5 inches
Radiator and engine oil cooler replaced with w123(i think) with modified mounting. parts due to lack of w116 parts availability
Polished valve cover
Minor engine compartment cleanup
