Some pics of the project that was never intended to be a project:

Itr konis and custom coils on ground control sleeves, various modified civic suspension components, gsr engine/trans.
Hopefully this month I'll be unibody dropping the front 4ish inches and the rear 3. That'll put everything where I want it as far as ride height with respect to suspension compression as well as oil pan and drivetrain clearance.
Main issue is the fenders. With the chassis done the rims will hover just below the fender trim, but the fenders are square. So I have around 3-4" of fender gap behind the wheels. So if anyone has any creative ideas as to how to modify the fenders, that'd be great. Of course I may get it down there and like it. Who knows.
My other option is larger wheels. Being a Honda guy the thought of anything largerthan 16s makes me break out in cold sweats and seizures. But I'm open to the idea. Tubbing the rears for this wouldn't be an issue if necessary. In real life the 16x8 +38s look great but in pictures from the side they look small and I'm often reminded of this. So its either change the wheels, which I like. Or change the fenders.
I'm not looking to get a wild stance/stretch but any hot rodder will tell you, all the best builds start with the wheels and work up.
That said, any input would be great!
(Hope this reads ok because I typed it up on my phone)
