MKVI TDI from CO

Hey guys, I've browsed this site as a guest for about a year or so but decided to join up. I have been modifying cars since I owned my first car (88 Honda Prelude). I have not owned a single car that didnt have a least the slightest mod done to it haha. This is my 2010 Golf TDI 6spd w/every option.

So far mods are:
Revo stg1
ST Coilovers
Rotiform NUE 18x8.5 et 45 (powdercoated white)
215/40/18 Hankook's
Matching powdercoated white Rocky Mount bike trays on a Thule rack
Diesel Geek shifter

Coils are coming off tonight and being replaced with B&G's as the ST's just dont sit low enough for the wheels as you can see by the pics. I have only test fit the wheels with no spacers so these are the best pics I have. Its still snow season in CO so they wont go on full time for another month or so.

This is all being done by a dad on a budget so no big baller wheels etc at this time. I wanted to do a car "right" on a budget. Wheels will have more poke when the spacers go on.

The tails are actually not all that dark, its just the pic I think. Its actually tinted laminx, it was on the car when I bought it. It will go away once I order the LED tails for it.

They do make a GTD in europe, has a 2.0l 170 hp motor vs. the US's 2.0 140 hp lump.

I will actually be trading this car in next summer for either a 4-door MKVI GTI, MKVI GLI, or an A4 Avant (only if I can find a 2.0t manual).

Yeah man, diesels are definetely not very popular here unless its a big truck. I love the way the new diesels drive, even bought my wife a jetta tdi. I just wish our emissions werent so crazy here, I really want to do a DPF delete and more motor mods to it.

Here in europe diesel are more popular, maybe more than benzin, really.

Off course in US, the thing is different, but mate, believe me, we have a MK5 2.0 TDI 140 HP, few years a go, and runs really great and are really fast!!!

So , after all, the engine and tecnology in a diesel motors are at the top!
