Hey everyone. My name is Duane, I live in Salt Lake and I thought it was about time to introduce myself since my truck had the honor of being featured in last year's Stance|Works JCCS coverage.

I own 2 Japanese Nostalgics and have always been drawn to the art and stance of cars rather than the performance. I know enough to keep them running but the real fun to me is the suspension.
I acquired the truck after leaving the proverbial note. This was my first air bag job and I am quite pleased with the results although as with any learning experience I would do some things differently next time. I just recently completed the "maintenance theme" and plan to keep it in its original patina. I will dial in the engine and make it more livable but have no plans to restore the exterior. The original rear bumper was put on as an experiment and I have since taken it back off. It fits the theme but I think I may section it to bring it closer to the body and less of a park bench. Oh, don't let the old California plates fool you. I grew up in California and the Hilux lived there too at some point in its history and since I had an old set of black plates lying around, on they went.

This is what I started with:

I've had the wagon (greengoon on Ratsun) for nearly 10 years now and at one time it was the lowest 510 wagon on the internet. I added the Street Beat sliding rag top and had the factory vinyl top recovered. The rear chassis has been tubbed and the back seat modified to look stock. Ground Control coil overs on shortened struts and custom top hats in front, de-arched rear leafs with 3" blocks and sectioned spring perches in the rear. 15x7+20 Rota RBs with 175/55/15 tires. Future plans include fender work in the rear so I can run a lower offset wheel. As with most 4 door cars, the rear wheel arch is quite thick.
