    Hey There

    New to this "stance" term.

    I just purchased a I am under the impression is an 87 535i. waiting on title and do have the car. The forum interested me when I was google image searching Bimmers. Now I am quite curious on how to adjust the altitude the way I have seen here. I am a huge fan of minitrucks and currently have my S10 I am working on bringing back to life.

    Hopefully learning a bit while I am here thanks.

    welcome! sweet bimmer. Altitude adjustments? most of the guys on here use coilovers. you can turn a wrench and adjust the height of the springs to whatever you want. hope that helps

      Thanks wasnt sure about coil overs or if I should just start hacking springs. I would rather not hack away though lol

        some people cut the springs, I'd do coilovers tho. cutting springs is sketchy lol

          Yeah and the ride is horrid lol. As soon as my S10 is in primer gonna get on the Bimmer....wanna plastidip the entire car and would love a set of old school wagon wheels painted bright pink..

                    thanks all. I will keep updated with pics....first things first I gotta get the Dime in primer.

                    then I can play with the Bimmer. And I have gotten a lot of inspiration so far here on this site. And I am interested in how "stance" works.

                    I have always enjoyed modifying my vehicles...and I always lower them
