Hi I just joined the forum after a few weeks of creepin here and there. I am fairly new to the game and the community. Was introduced into it by a few friends. Got my first hands on knowledge working on my buddies 2007 VW GTI. Soon after that I was introduced to SacWater. Sacwater is a VW club. After my 96 Accord went south I started a search for a new car and was set on the E30. After a few deals falling through and bad mannered sellers I broadened my search. After six months of looking for an E30 I decided to include other cars in my search. I was looking for MKIV Gtis MKIII/MKII Jettas. A few weeks after that my best friend old me that my neighbor had just bought what he thought was an E30. After talking to the guy he fond out it was older than the E30. Hearing the news I had to check it out for my self..I ran into a 1981 BMW 320i with only 67,XXX miles on it. Original paint, original interior, original everything. It had it all, the works. After talking to the guy for a few weeks I gave him the deposit and picked it up. It even has the original pinstripe on it! That's my lengthy intro..can't wait to start a build thread. Love the community built around StanceWorks. Thanks again guys for any of the help.

Thank you for the wise words. I don't plan on selling it. I literally fell in love with it the first time I actually saw it. I mean I had glanced at it and walked past it a few times but when I saw it up close and personal I knew I had to have it. I also got it for a steal. If all goes well I'll have this car till I'm no longer able to drive.

Thanks man. I really appreciate the love. Waited so long for the right car. I ended up spending more than I had planned so the build is going to go a bit slower. I'm working on new suspension right now. I'll post a build once I have parts and something to show.
