Hey yo
My interest in all things big and slammed probably started with this. My dad's '59 Bel Air which was our family's car since I was born. Crazy low on wide steels with factory small caps, 327 small block and side exit pipes with a serious lack of mufflers.

That's me chillin with my cousin and grandma. Excuse the quality of the photos, will get some good scans at some point.
He had some other cool cars like a PA Vauxhall Velox which was just as low, no photos of that tho. He's got an R31 Passage GT now (my influence) which is taking some time to get back on the road ha.

Fast forward like 10-15 years and I got my first car in 2006, '75 Datsun 260C bought stock standard off an old dude who bought it in '77. Shortly after it had become this...

Still own this car but unfortunately it now looks like this

Earthquakes etc, at least those bricks didn't come down on us so it's cool, paint wasn't mint anyway.
After a few months of hassling the old dude that owned this GX61 I managed to get him to sell, owned it since the '80s, always garaged, 120k on it, that old story. Did this to it..

My little sister now owns this one.
Had a friend visiting Wellington spot a facelift 61 Mark II hardtop, got him to leave a note on it. Ended up buying it after having only seen these photos and drove it back down to Dunedin

Did this

Thought I'd take it a step further, more not-so-overnight parts from Japan

Also had this thing as a daily for a while, Mark II wagon, 2.4 diesel and 5-speed, engine brake everywhere..

And this, 993cc 3-cyl 5-speed Charade which was meant to stay standard but I couldn't help myself...

Oh yeah and I got this Cressida wagon after realising I wasn't going to have anything cool to drive over summer.

Already a bit of work done to it so it didn't take me long to get it Riverside-spec, booyah.

And in motion: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tH346CpOnYw"]Highway Party - YouTube[/ame]
Cheers
