I'd like to go lower in the front but it pokes just a tad too much. If I go 15x7, I'd need a fat spacer to make up for the +35 offset. Otherwise it won't clear the strut. The tire on the drivers front has a about 1/8" clearance from the fender but almost NEVER rubs. The passenger side fender was caught by the tire during hard cornering + countersteer, which is why it looks ratty. If anything, I may raise the rear up just a tad.
I'd like to go lower on the front of the Subaru as well but the body just about sits on the cv axles. 17's don't do the drop justice.
As for silver on the Audi... All the good looking Audis and VWs I've seen with 111s have the silver finish. I just need to tint the windows and smoke the chrome trim so it flows better.
Thanks again, everyone, for the friendly welcome!

Holy cow! Just realized I missed a few responses almost 4 years ago. The old BMWs are very easy to work on. They have a basic design. Most difficulty comes from trying to find replacement parts.
