  • E36 from Essex, UK !

    Hello party people !

My name's Alex, ive been a lurker on here for a while now so thought it about time i throw up some pics of my E36.

Brought it a few months back for the grand sum of £480 ($740) its a 1993 325i coupe with the manual 5 speed box, fairly low mileage of 105k.

Here's some pics of when i first picked her up...

Started to really **** on the tractor spec ride height so got myself some coilovers with adjustable top mounts and got some low cheeky bit of camber also and now she looks like so...

Now onto the wheel's, genuine 2 piece BBS LM's unsure how much bodywork felting im going to have to do to make them fit buts they WILL fit

Sizes are 17x9 et42 up front and 17x10 et50 on the rear, anyone know if they are going to be a pain to fit and also sort of tyre sizes i should be going for.

Your dash doesn't need that Vans sticker, however great choice on the BBS LMs.

                Cheers for the welcome.

Wheels will be going on in the next month or so, got them split for a refurb at the moment then arches rolled and flared and we are good to go

Well they 5x114 fitment so with a 25mm 5x120 to 5x114 adaptor im assuming that will be plenty

Nope not the cheapest, they were originally intended for my s14a but they have been sitting around for ages so thought i had better fit em to something

Im just outside Colchester dude towards the coast

You might be alright with that spacer size actually, some reason I thought 36's were low offset.

As for tyres depending how much stretch you want..

                      195- 205/45 - front.

                      205-215-225/45 rear.

                      i would personally go 205f and 215r.

Im sure the 36's have a high offset, i could be wrong though!

Yeah i will probably go for tyres similar to those sizes, thought they would be expensive but for a set of 4 toyo's delivered its only £340, pleasently suprised

Yeah man even the coilovers were more than the car !

The guy who was selling the BMW didn't have a clue on how much it was worth. E36 325i coupe with a fully documented 105k, rust free for sub £500 is bargain of the year
