  • 2002 from CT

Hey guys. I've been following the blog for a while and decided to join the forum.
    Here's my car. It's a 1976 BMW 2002.
No low yet. It's totally stock, minus the bottle caps.

I have some plans to lower it, repaint it and hopefully find a set of BBS RS's. Yeah, they're played out, but I love them!

Oh, and sorry for the awful picture. I can take a few more tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure everyone knows what a 2002 looks like. Ahaha

        Thanks!
Work on the car should start just after christmas. I've been scouring the internet for any advice for stancing an old 2002... Needless to say, I've pissed a few purists off without even doing anything yet.

Oh sick. It's cool to find people from the area. Are there any shows around here? I know there's Dubs on Defrost, but other than that, I don't know of any.

                      Thanks dude!
I've seen a bunch of your photography. Always amazing. Maybe this summer once I get some work done, would you be down to take a few shots? My photography is horrifically sub-par compared to your's.

Thanks! There have been quite a few 2002's in my family. Probably 5 or 6. Mine will be a little bit different

Hey guys. I snapped a few pictures of my 2002 the other day. My photog skill is at zero, but they're better than the last picture.

And a little german face-off between my '02 and my mom's JCW Cooper S

Here's the photostream in case the pics don't work. I can't see them in this post while I'm at school for some reason. http://www.flickr.com/photos/74176891@N03/
                        Also, a little UPDATE.
I ordered a set of 15" BBS RS's. I wanted to keep the rims on the smaller side for now. Those should arrive within the next week!!!

                            Thanks!
                            And I know
It was sitting for a bit and the tyre has a slow leak. I picked up an air compressor and fixed the problem yesterday. Ahaha

Soooo the wheels of my dreams showed up on my doorstep the other day. I had to resist the urge to hug the UPS guy.
(Sorry for the cell phone quality)

I'm debating over finishes. I know I'm going to keep them silver (classy), but I'm not sure if I want to polish the lips or not.

Here's one of what they might look like on the car.
