Great mk2 man, engine bay looks amazing!

the bay was a nightmare mate ! it was super smooth FIRST time round but cos i wasnt happy i rubbed it down some more then on the second coat of paint it reacted !!!

anyway i was so pissed off i rubbed it down & painted it again but u can see some sand paper lines init !! but i wasnt spending hours an end rubbin down i was that fcked off with it !
best thing io like tho the strut brace was welded in not bolted ! this meant i could smooth that into the strut looks really good close up .. cheers anyway mate

I am LOVIN the MkII. My favorite VDubs. I had a MkII GTi and GLi. How long did the build take?

yeah my fav car of all time il never sell it ! probably start another after this .. i am buyin a vw caddy van too tho as a run about but il euro look it slighty no doubt
errr iv had the car 2 yr but it sat on my drive for about 6 month i think from it been stripped to no id say 15 month give or take !
