Hi all, My name is Dustin and I'm currently living in the Pittsburgh area. Joining the forum for ideas and support throughout my build.
My background; installer, fabricator, mechanic, I have worked for 5 shops within PA but got tired of the full time fab work in 07, revisited my lifestyle and changed. Now I'm a consultant and I work on cars, bikes, tractors, furniture, whatever in my spare time, now it is fun and not a job anymore. However I do work part time still at my old shop in Moon Twp pa, the link is in my sig, we got the cover of Truckin last Feb and was in Diesel World and a few other mags. This year we built a 3500 Dodge for SEMA, I will put pics below. Rich the owner is one of the best all around builders I have ever met.
Anyways I have had 35+ cars since I was 14 that was 16 years ago and with the support of my friends and family, I have built and owned allot of nice old stuff. My new project is a 63 Chevy Corvair panel van. It's ugly but also sweet, not too many around and only know of two that have been bagged, which is my goal. I have big plans for it, but parts are hard to find and the body is a solid one piece welded from the factory. 6 cyl air cooled in the rear, 3 speed on the floor.
I currently also own a 96 S10 which is my beater, an 85 C10, a 98 Z71 FSC and my daily is a 2010 Cobalt.
Here are some pics, and thanks in advance for the welcomes....
