Been a long time lurker here, I figured I should finally introduce myself.
My name is Mike I'm 17 years old, I live in Washington state and I drive a 1984 Mercedes 300D Turbo Diesel. I bought the car back in march with a wrecked front end for a measly $500. This is my second W123 driver/fixer, and I also used to have a parts car.
I had the damaged front drivers section pulled on a frame straightener, bought a used hood/fender/bumper, and drove around with a car that had three different colors for a while.
I finally took it to the paint shop, and had the front end resprayed.
Next up was maintenance, the poor car sat outside for two years after the fender bender, and was severely neglected. So the usual stuff like oil, filters, tires, mice in the air intake, and battery were fixed. Then I drove around for a while and realized I was only making 8 pounds of boost with a large leak between 1-5 psi. (W123's push 12.5 psi stock when new). So I have all the emmsions equipment blocked off, and deleted... Back to 12 pounds, and no vacuum leaks.
Cosmetics?
ahh yess I'm a W123 parts whore
added vacuum adjustable early euro hella headlights with a 55 watt 4500k bixenon hid kit
frenched the fog lights
added frenched hella 500's
added hella European taillights
added euro corners, and smoked corners (I get bored between the two sets)
DIY'ed my own mudflaps
euro plates front and rear
straight piped exhaust turbo back plus a glasspack muffler
walmart rubber stubby antenna
16 by 7 inch polished CLK lightweights.
8mm spacers front for a final offset of 29mm
ordering 30mm spacers for the rear for a final offset of 7mm
new bilstein heavy duty shocks all around
cross bars+ custom wind fairing+ yakima snowbaord rack+ yakima bike rack
Interior?
Kenwood HU
Kicker 4 inch component speakers front
Polk Audio 5.25 component speakers rear
Polk audio 12 inch sub in a sealed box
Fusion 330 watt amp (shit)
OEM floor mats
Cheap cup holder (only for the driver)
And a dash mat to protect the rare crack free blue dash under it
So why no pictures? Well because my die grinder broke, so I couldn't widen my spring perch hole for the spring compressor I was borrowing to fit through, so the car is at stock ride height.
I'm planning to cut 2 coils front and 1 rear, this is because the rear of my car sags bad already.
Anyway that was my story. Pics will come soon, but I figured you want to see the car lowered.
