another another another mk2. jetta this time

Just a quick thread on my jetta -
88 GL, 1.8l 8v, 5spd. bought in '06 with 52xxx. Bought mainly as a car to tinker with/autocross.
when i bought it...

and how it looks now.

biggest change was in 09-10 when i finally put fk coilovers on it, and got rid of the eibach springs. Aside from that it has just been the usual swapping of grilles, new bumps, clutch, other goodies. just enjoying it.

what is next? real wheels? maybe refurbing some BBS RSs over the winter - will have to send them out for a redrill. and i have a Zender Z6 i thought about using if i don't sell it first.



Not as low as many other mk2s here, but i don't consider oil pans a wear item ;-)

no more pics - but looks like I am committed to the RS rebuild -
I have been accumulating parts and have the lips, with centercaps on the way.
Next is to take them apart and send centers out for fill and redrill.

i feel like i am making some progress - i have all the RSs apart and I am working on cleaning things up before I send to have the centers redrilled.
