    well . . the problem is, that most our customers drive their cars for only 5-8 years . . then they buy a new one . . no way I can trade a set of floormats for a 8 year old car that has cost 100'000$ (and in Switzerland even a well equipped 3 Series is in that range . . ) . . . and people with older BMW go somewhere else because we're to expensive for them . . so very rarely a "interesting" car is traded in . . I only bought the E61 from a customer of ours . . all other cars I bought on the "free" market . .

    but no doubt it's a good thing if you work at a dealership when you're car-crazy
