    hey,
    new here.

    looked like this
    Photobucket
was only 800 bucks. but it needed a new top and seats
i threw on some coilovers for h20, and got it resprayed the same color gold because the clear was peeling and there was a few instances of rust
    so far i got
    Photobucket
    and
    Photobucket

waiting to go on/in. not sure what color centers im doing for the 5's. any suggestions would be great.they are getting redrilled and im planning on spacing them out a little and making them flush.

and this was the old car. vr6 turbo. sold it for a bad check

looks like a great start, cant wait to see it with the style 5's i say polish them, or color match the centers.

are you trying to say that you essentially "gave" away your mkiv?

Reminds me off my buddy who was given counterfeit cash for his civic. Reported it and some government officials showed up at his door the next day...

Anyway, can't wait for the progress and good luck getting the situation sorted out!

Why? He will be running caps, so it will look nice. The position of the new PCD doesn't look to interfere or weaken the structural integrity of the wheels...lastly keeping 5x120 with his 4x100 will easily help his resale.

OP car looks great, throw on the wheels now & welcome to SW!

Because whats going to happen now is when he puts them on his e30 its going to mushroom that 4x100 into the 5x120 holes because there is no real support and cause it to crack. Which will then cause the bolts to come loose, wheel fall off, etc. Now he will need new centers or to spend the money to have everything filled and then redrilled again.
Seen this happen on a few other sets of redrills by not filling first. Even seen it happen on wheels bought drilled for 4x100/5x100. (esm wheels)

Anyways, nice vert. looking to see the finish product.

I understand your reasoning, but with quality "wheels such as these, & not ESM", I have never seen this happen (not saying you are wrong by any means). Also proper torque for mounting wheels, as well as steel inserts in the lug holes, may have been cause for the issues you previously saw.

I have seen tons of these style 5s redrilled to 4x100, 4x108, & tons of other patterns, not one problem from the sets I have seen online.

In all of the sets of style 5s Ive seen drilled. Ive never seen one set not filled. I just used ESM as an example because they make their wheels like that.. but other OEM wheels Ive seen drilled like this have cracked. Just sayin is all.
