Hi guys, i've been intrigued into wheel fitment for a quite some time now. It started with my first Classic GC8 WRX I owned wearing massive 19x8.5 anchors sitting dead level with the tiny guards.
I've since changed cars a few times.. Cars such as a couple of DUB'd Jeeps, a Callaway C13 (HSV GTS 300) and now for a daily work hack a Nissan D21 Hardbody/Pickup/Navara.
I dont really intend on running an airbag suspension set up any time soon and would prefer to keep static low and keep the tray usable and purposeful. I have opted NOT to change to the wide 4wd guards to tuck wheel/tyre but instead aim for level fitment.
I have already installed drop spindles in the front and have plenty of torsion bar adjustment available and will possibly need to redrill the rear leaf hangers to achieve the final ride height.
It rolls on a set of Toyota Prado 17s with offset that I was told by the wheel shop to be completely incorrect and would not fit.
I'm about to buy another car to replace my aging HSV GTS and a MY11 WRX is on the cards. Has anyone seen many mod'd MY11 rex's, I dont think ive seen many if any at all in australia?
