Hi there, Dmitri from Melbourne here. Thought I would say hi. Purchased this little beauty straight from an auction in Japan, grade 4.5, almost flawless in every way. Its a 2001 Nissan Gloria Ultima GT. Has a 3L turbo VQ engine (VQ30DET) coupled to a 6 speed CVT transmission. Since getting it I have installed new coilovers, side mirrors, custom angel eye headlights, custom K-Break grill and converted the centre console to a fit a single DIN headunit. Currently looking for a set of gold WORK VS-XX wheels to finished off the project (for now).

I was really looking into those Sapporo auctions, but it must be a lot easier and cheaper for Australia than the U.S.

I think it's a matter of knowing the right person/people for the job. Here in Australia there are a number of companies, which for a price (usually around $1000) will find you a car to your specifications. They will scan auctions for you, advise you of whats out there and then go to the auction and take hundreds of pictures for you, do a quick mechanical check and write it all up. I think in total, it costs about $5-6k (depending on the cost of the car) to bring a car into Australia by boat and have it complianced.
